Rick began his real estate careerin 2004 and he along with his wife, Pam opened EXIT Oceanside Realty April 1, 2012. He specializes in residential sales, both for year round residences, seasonal properties and investment properties along the beautiful coast of Southern Maine. Rick is passionate about helping his agents develop their skills and master every aspect of the real estate business ensuring all of his firms's clients receive the level of service he would provide himself.

Rick retired into real estate from a long career as a Health and Physical Education teacher having taught in Wells and Brunswick, Maine. During his tenure, Rick coached basketball and baseball with a championship in both sports.

Since becoming a Realtor® and opening his own brokerage, Rick views real estate as educating adults instead of children and he is determined to coach his team to success. Rick knows the best way to improve the real estate market is through a better educated population. He is a Certified Investor Specialist (CIS) and he worked as a Senior Vice President with Primerica Financial Services. He prides himself on his ability to educate consumers to achieve their dream lifestyle and a retirement beyond their dreams through smart real estate investments.

Rick is a member of the York County Board of Realtors, the Maine Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. He believes that Realtors® should be involved in the communities where they work as Rick is a Wells Rotarian serving as past president and treasurer.  Rick, along with EXIT Oceanside Realty helps the community by donating to Habitat for Humanity. To date EXIT Realty has donated over $2 million to the charity and built more than 15 million homes.
