Wells Maine Christmas Parade-2020 Style!

The Wells Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their Annual Christmas Parade (the 2020 Version!) on Sunday, December 13, 2020. The State of Maine recommended “reverse” parades this season due to the Covid pandemic. A “reverse” parade means the parade watchers are the ones driving their cars with the floats/parade participants lined up along the road.

The event venue will be changed this year to Wells Harbor Park located at 331 Harbor Road in Wells versus closing down Route 1. The hours will be 2:00-3:00pm. We encourage families, youth groups, civic groups, businesses and individuals to join us. There is no charge to participate. Space will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Due to the outside gathering attendance regulations, there will be a limit of 6 people per group allowed initially, but if there is space available prior to the parade, more attendees can be invited. Everyone (participants and spectators) will be advised that they must wear face coverings and the participants need to adhere to safe social distancing practices.
